Who We Are

Mustangs for Christ is a place to find home and come alive in Christ.

Whether you're attending MSU, working nearby, taking a gap year, or figuring out what’s next, we want to be a home away from home—a place where you're known, encouraged, and challenged to grow. We're all about connection: with God, with each other, and with the local church. We believe that discipleship happens in the context of real relationships, and we’re here to walk alongside you as you discover who you are and who God is calling you to be.

A Little History

Mustangs for Christ has been around for decades, serving college students at Midwestern State University. Though we’re not officially part of the university, our building sits right in the middle of campus—surrounded by dorms, classrooms, and student life. Over the years, we’ve gone by a few names like “The Bible Chair” or “Church of Christ Student Center,” but our purpose has always stayed the same: to create a welcoming space where students can ask honest questions, grow in faith, build deep friendships, and follow Jesus together.

We’re supported by a network of Churches of Christ in Wichita Falls who care deeply about college students—and we’re especially thankful for Tenth and Broad Church of Christ, who provide the majority of our financial support, leadership, and guidance. Their love for students shows up in meals shared, prayers prayed, and a steady commitment to helping this ministry thrive. We’re also grateful for the other local churches like Edgemere Church of Christ and Faith Village Church of Christ, who pitch in through donations, volunteering, and encouragement.

While the look and feel of M4C has evolved to meet the needs of each new generation, our foundation is still the same: we want to walk alongside you as you explore who Jesus is, who you are, and what it means to live with purpose and hope during your college years—and beyond.
